10/1/2013 - In the middle of fall, a series of howls filled the night sky. The Sosimo pack was making itself known to the world. This ancient pack, older than our calender, has struggled through the famine for survival. This land, who many believed was unclaimed, had a pack all along. Enrai is looking for people to adopt wolves for this pack. Interested? CLICK HERE The pack will be set up in the coming days. Congrats to Xem for becoming alpha!
10/1/2013 - Today is Enrai's grand opening! We are finally out of the beta testing phase and while things are not perfect, we have progressed far enough to advertise Enrai to the world. I hope you would be interested in joining us! (Lindsey)

Bitter wind clipped the barren scenery, mourning calls whispering over the cracking earth while greeted by only a whip of talons against the dried ground. Desolate, hideous, words rolled lavishly on a harsh tongue as a sneer spread against silver features. Up until this moment, she had been fairly impressed with her travels along this land. It was far more grand than her old home had once been, from the drought to the flooding, the travels. What lay beneath her was rotting and loathsome. A faint click of her tongue brought her back into motion, fluidly moving across the shattered grounds, eyes tracing dead roots that lingered nearby.

Echoing from the past came the thunderous roar of water as yellow gaze scorched by the dried creek beds. Anger, rage, resentment flooded her volatile system. Outrage founded the basis of her being, burned by the wretched hand of her mother, and so-called caretakers. Had she lived in this land, had golden opportunities been strung in her lap, perhaps there would be no reason to feel the anguish that she now held. All that remained was a spiteful soul forever entangled by the realities that surrounded her. Hatred surfaced so readily at her homeland, at this paradise for which she hadn't been born upon, because it had been so painfully unfair.

Rotting skies had begun to drift into lighter hues, charcoal clouds simmering into gray fleece, releasing tension as the silver woman eased away woes. It had never been worth it. What rage she tasted never went fulfilled, remaining unsatisfied, ravenous for more misery of others. Wounded breaths released from a tight chest as her figure dipped into the dry beds, standing with a ghostly gaze drifting into the mountains. “It must suit you,” came a murmur from satin lips, exhaling as the air turned into fog. Abandoned as well as hopeless, a rut that was inescapable, her feeble hands reaching for something to be disappointed at each turn. No one would save her and she couldn't find herself to blame them.

It was a desolate place. There was nothing but rocks, sand and patches of weeds in each direction. He could faintly notice the indentations of old creeks, now long empty. In these waterless beds, there were small pebbles and crushed up stones. This land could have been a beautiful place once upon a time, filled with life and wonder. Too bad, the rain had stopped falling and the sun continued to shine. This would forever be a place no one would want to live, as everyone needed water to survive. With a place no one would want to visit, it was the perfect place for him to go.

Eliyah couldn't get into trouble if no one knew where he was. This would be a place no one would look, and therefore be the greatest place to party. They could be loud and obnoxious and do whatever they wanted and no one would ever know. Too bad there were only a few young wolves in the pack. He wanted something massive; a gathering that all the young wolves in all the lands would come and join. There would be food, sound and perhaps even some sexy action later on. Oooh, that would just be perfect. Damn, he needed to get his pack to allow new members to join, especially if they were young sexy women.

At that moment, the wind whipped up dust and dirt and swirled it in the air and in it brought the scent of another. Eliyah's ears perked, and his head swiveled around. Off in the distance, a gray wolf stood, its back to him. The scent relieved the wolf was a lone young female. Eliyah grinned. Perhaps she would want to join the pack; perhaps he could confidence the others that she should join. Calm down, he told himself. You don't even know if she is friendly! She was beautiful, he could see that as he approached, his tail wagging softly behind him.

"Hello!"

He called out with a happy shout as he approached. He was the symbol of all things friendly. The grin on his features shown through his eyes. When he came within a few meters of her, he stopped and tilted his head. The closer he got, the more beautiful she appeared. Her eyes were a unique and bright shade, and her legs were well built. Oh, she was quite sexy. For a moment he forgot what he was gonna say, his mouth clammed up. She was obviously older, and probably wanted nothing to do with him. Oh well, he would try anyways!

"Are you lost?"

...Smooth, Eliyah... Smooth.

"Er. I mean, I don't normally see wolves out here and you are obviously not from around here..."

Oh gods, he was making a fool of himself. Maybe he should just shut up and let the beautiful woman just bop him upside the head. He deserved it. Damnit, he would have to fix it or else he would be going home alone tonight.

How it ached to be so far from hope. Destroyed from her very conception, all the warmth and love she ever craved unfulfilled, leaving such an angry reminder of what could have been. Crackling creek beds that left dried to rot shook her core the moment she had paused. Rage bubbling in her chest from haunting memories she could never abandon. This place was far too much like Ardel or the other so called home she held in Torva. A sneer rolled upon her lips as intense gaze fluttered to the ground, dark talons etching miniature scars upon the ground. It served this damn place right.

Frustrations soared so highly on the emotional gauge, dwarfing all in comparison, yet in all the anguish there was the inability to let go. Freedom of such sorrow would never come while rotting in the poison she created. Fumes burned from her mind as a silver leg dragged heavily across the ground, only stopping at the sound of a click from behind her. Silver ears puckered sourly against her crown as intense gaze rambled onto the stranger approaching, a sneer drawn lightly on her muzzle as her examination briefly swept up and down his body. 'Hello!' Chipper, excited tones flooded towards her as she quickly dialed down the revolted expression that morphed her features, choosing something a bit more acceptable for interaction.

Cheerful exterior unfolded before her with unreasonable extremes. Her encounters had not prepared her for someone so obvious, if that could be the word. 'Are you lost?' His quip came forward at her silence while her own gaze did another cursory jump over his figure. 'Er. I mean, I don't normally see wolves out here and you are obviously not from around here...' Vera's lips barely parted as a tinkering mind went to work on how to answer him in a polite fashion. Her experiences with others often being informed of her lack of social interaction. “No,” she began, her voice ending harshly with silence as if she weren't going to finish. A moment passed, rather painfully, before she drew in a breath to continue. “I've been here for a few days, I went exploring and found this place.” Again, her answer rolled to an abrupt halt as she gauged his reaction, eyes icy and uninspired despite the internal curiosity simmering behind closed doors.
